How long does the course take to complete?

Our basic CPR course takes between 1.5 and 3 hours, depending on if you’d also like to do the free First Aid course content too.

Our Level 1 accredited course takes 1-2 days depending on whether you also do self-study or not.

How long is the certificate valid for?

As this is not an accredited training, it doesn’t have an expiry date.  The Department of Labour accredited First Aid training that we offer is valid for 3 years.

Do I need to bring anything along to the training?

No, you can just enjoy the interactive class to learn and ask questions. We will email you a link to updated PDF flashcards after the course.

Who should do a CPR training course?

CPR training is valuable for everyone, from parents and caregivers to employees in the workplace. It’s especially important for individuals who work in healthcare, education, fitness, or public service. However, knowing CPR is a life-saving skill beneficial to anyone who wants to be prepared in case of an emergency.

No prior medical knowledge is necessary—our course is designed for beginners.

Are there any prerequisites for attending this course?

There are no strict prerequisites for this basic CPR training, except being physically able to do chest compressions.  Doing CPR on babies requires less strength and physical ability compared to children and adults.

Is the course accredited?

No, this short CPR course is not accredited, but you can book a Level 1 First Aid and CPR course should you need an accredited training and certificate.
