How long does a First Aid and CPR course take to complete?

The course duration depends on the course level. A Family First Aid basic First Aid course usually takes ahout 3 hours to complete. Our more advanced, accredited courses may be spread over multiple days, especially workplace training.

Do I get a certificate?

Yes a certificate of participation for the basic 3 hour course.  This is not an accredited certificate.

We also offer work-related Health and Safety training courses that get certificates.  For example: First Aid Level 1 (Basic), SHE Rep, Basic Fire Fighting, and a range more.

How long is the certificate valid for?

As this is not an accredited training, it doesn’t have an expiry date.  The Department of Labour accredited First Aid training that we offer is valid for 3 years.

Do I need to bring anything along to the training?

No, you can just enjoy the interactive class to learn and ask questions. We will email you a link to updated PDF flashcards after the course.

Who should take First Aid and CPR courses?

Anyone can benefit from First Aid and CPR training, but it’s especially important for parents, teachers, caregivers, fitness instructors, healthcare professionals and employees in workplaces with safety risks. Having this training can prepare you to handle emergencies at home, work, or in public settings.
